Compensation And Benefits Specialist at Interwood Mobel (Pvt) Ltd., Pakistan
Description
- Responsible for the company's benefits programs (e.g. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, , Voluntary, Compensation, Leaves of Absence, Flexible Spending Accounts & Payroll).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed.
- Provide administrative support to include the maintenance of benefit policies and procedures, record keeping, files, HRIS and auditing benefit elections for payroll deduction accuracy.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures and resolve access related problems.
- Assist in developing communication of benefits to employees (e.g. open enrollment, employee benefit orientation, email, intranet, etc.)
- Serve as the go to person for guidance to managers on employee issues related to compensation or benefits
- Partner with fellow HR team in development and implementation of benefits & compensation processes and policies
- Assist in the development of compensation programs through plan designs and strategy, analysis, cost containment, budgeting, compliance, auditing, reporting, communication while considering external competitiveness, internal equity and pay-performance linkage
- Assist in the design and implementation of pay grades for entire organization in harmony with Executive team's compensation philosophy
- Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad hoc reporting to support company initiatives
- Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of all departments
- Assist with the organization and implementation of employee events.
- Assist with ad hoc projects, as needed.
Specification
• Strong Microsoft office skill set including superior ability to utilize Excel. Preference for experience with SSP, Access and other data analysis programs• Minimum of three years of experience in compensation and benefits
• Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach towards work and all work projects
• Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility
• Ability to think strategically, aligning compensation programs with business objectives, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exemplary oral & written communication skills.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) desirable
