Human Resource Generalist at Interwood Mobel (Pvt) Ltd., Pakistan

Description

  • Provide HR support for assigned client groups, including HR business partnering, employee relations, performance management, career development, and separations.
  • Perform all hiring and recruiting functions for a high-volume of non-exempt positions.
  • Recommend solutions and assist as needed in solving day-to-day human resources issues/problems.
  • Coach management on best ways to prevent/limit employee issues.
  • Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Manage and implement recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Assist with HR operations and administration of various HR functions/duties.
  • Keep informed to ensure compliance with HR policies and practices.
  • Participate in various meetings regarding employee issues, compensation and Human Resource strategic initiatives.
  • Implement various HR department responsibilities, including but not limited to, corporate initiatives and special projects.
  • Implement and support division level, corporate-driven human resources processes including but not limited to wage and salary administration; benefits administration; EEO/AAP; substance abuse and drug testing
  • Counsel employees on career objectives, personal or work-related matters which may affect job performance or employment status
  • Act as a facilitator and liaison between management and employees on issues
  • Conduct research and analysis, working with multiple division-based and/or corporate departments to achieve problem resolution
  • Prepare and review various reports and filings with state and federal regulatory agencies
  • Interpret, apply, explain and enforce applicable human resource policies and procedures
  • Conduct work assignments in compliance with all corporate standard practices as well as contractual and legal requirements (e.g., contract terms, state and federal employment laws, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, etc.)
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

Specification

  • Proven track record of achievements in Under developed HR system
  • Superior computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products and email required; Lotus Notes and
  • People Soft background helpful
  • Ability to develop, grow and sustain relationships with all levels of the organization
  • The ability to respond positively to changing circumstances; seek and implement change to drive business improvement.
  • A commitment to developing and retaining top talent to ensure the future growth and success.
  • Excellent influence management, coaching and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and follow through to resolve outstanding issues
  • Demonstrated project management skills
