Job Description:

The Solution Architect will be responsible for leading business and client side activities and work streams related to Quantum Retail implementations to ensure value delivery and business benefits meet or exceed client expectations. This role will leverage retail industry knowledge, Quantum product knowledge, and business analytical skills to define solution implementation requirements and align Quantum Retail and client resources to deliver on the solution vision. A Solution Architect may share some project management responsibilities and will provide leadership to the client team to ensure a successful project. The Solution Architect is a strategic program delivery role that is involved throughout the project pre-sales and solution delivery process, acting as the “glue” to getting the implementation done right. Key Responsibilities Work with Project Manager to identify and design overall solution architecture/implementation approach for Q in order to meet client business objectives Lead solution, business and implementation design sessions in order to: Assist in the definition of project objectives, scope, organization, timelines, and overall approach Identify and document application configuration and enhancements Define client reporting, data conversion, interface, and application Define test requirements for reports, application enhancements Assist the client in prioritization of business requirements Identify current client business processes and document as necessary Assist or drive (as needed) TO-BE Business process definition and documentation enhancement requirements and modifications, and interfaces Provide configuration and engineering team with client subject matter expertise and business knowledge to ensure application will meet client requirements and intended business use. Ensure user stories, use cases, test cases, and functional specifications of product will meet the identified client business requirements. Ensure alignment in client TO-BE Business process with product capabilities Assist and/or lead some client side business, testing, knowledge transfer, training, and change management activities Lead Quantum Retail client side activities Facilitate the management of client scope to fit within the program guidelines for schedule and effort Lead issue resolution teams to find solutions to client raised issues Perform knowledge transfer to client personnel especially related to Quantum Retail applications and requirements Ensure proper change control and scope of program are aligned to project goals Assist with project planning and management activities as necessary Conduct project and client meetings, as appropriate Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Retail Business, or Computer Science or related field 10+ years of retail industry and/or retail application knowledge 10+ years retail system implementation or business analysis experience Direct experience with retail inventory management, replenishment, allocation or forecasting systems preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong ability to proactively identify and resolve issues Strong analytical skills Good time management skills Total annual compensation is USD $100,000 paid at $50/hour for a 40 hour, 50 week work year.
