Centaman develops leading edge ticketing, point of sale, customer
management and venue operations systems.
Job Responsibilities:
As a member of the R&D team you will assist the QA Lead in testing life cycle activities such as:
- Perform necessary testing like Functional/Integration/System & Regression Testing on web based applications
- Perform cross browser & cross platform testing
- Perform manual & automation testing
- Prepare and write detailed test cases based upon software & business requirements/specs
- Document and communicate findings, including analysis of bugs
- Advise on test coverage and adequacy of functional tests
- Build
excellent working relationships with development, business analysis and
the rest of the test department to ensure the highest possible quality
- Advise on ways to optimize and maintain QA processes
Job Qualifications:
- Strong experience of working with Developers having come from a computing degree background.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in software engineering testing methodologies and best practice
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2002 and 2008 and Windows XP, Vista and 7
- Experience with the Windows operating system and familiarity with PC hardware and architecture
- Ability of understand web-based application architecture and propose testing based on that.
- Experience with Test Automation tool like Test Complete/QTP & Rational Functional Tester using VB/Java Scripting.
