1. The imaging technologist will depict effective morale as of
maintaining true standards of education as well as the dignity of the
acquired degree not only in letters but also in practice. 2. He/She will remain pleasant, sympathetic and concerned towards her patient and will ensure absolute possible imaging standards to the service user while complying with the effective acquired educational guidelines. 3. He/She he will maintain patient care environment in his/her working modality in which the values, customs and religious beliefs of service users are respected. 4. He/She will not disclose personal information of the service user to any unconcerned person as per ethical standards. 5. He/She will maintain exemplary conduct, discipline and professional character. 6. He/She will be under the immediate supervision of radiology manager and will be directly answerable in all matters relating to the 7. He/She will visit each modality daily and get in touch all the way round where her need is required. 8. In the events of an emergency she will immediately take resuscitative measures as may appear to her as necessary to meet the requirement of the case. Moreover, she will immediately consult in emergency department for the required help of MO and consultant on duty. 9. He/She should pay particular and immediate attention to the seriously sick service users and should be well conversant with handling emergencies. 10. He/She will ensure the appropriate administration of drugs to the service users where required only as per need of time. 11. He/She will bring into the notice of manager for any for any loss or damage to the hospital property. 12. He/She will ensure application of proper infection control practices meeting international standards in every modality. 13. He/She utmost effort should be to gain confidence of service user in respective capabilities. 14. He/She will be responsible for the respective formal dress code depicting professional outlook as per the demand of healthcare service with proper cleanliness and mechanism of giving it in laundry in place etc. 15. To follow the SOPs in letter and spirit. 16. To provide prompt diagnostic patient care precisely according to the demand of the examination. 17. He/She will take proper clinical history of the service user with all dire consequences in place keeping in mind the need and demand of the required examination. 18. He/She will mark her attendance on biometric attendance machine at reception on ground floor in resuming and coming to her duty. 19. To be vigilant in changes in the health condition of the concerned service users. 20. On taking over the duty he/she should maintain proper over in the handing taking over sheet with availability and serviceability of each and every item and particularly equipment at the respective working modality. 21. To carefully accept and comply with any job relevant special assignment and instruction from radiology staff and work in unity and collaboration as team member with all staff members. 22. Assisting service users and their attendants with any questions and concern about their procedure related to respective practice. 23. Proper assessment of service user for any contrast allergies and other related complications. 24. Assessing service user prior regarding any allergy and other health related issues. 25. Administrating and overseeing intravenous injection for any allergy, extravasation and other complications in accordance with the set procedural method. 26. Preparing service users for their procedure. He/She must maintain absolute standards of healthcare delivery and will ensure proper training programmes for the radiology staff for their theoretical training also in a continuous manner. |
