Time Inc is the largest magazine publisher in the world. With over 40 magazines, Time Inc. magazines are the market leaders for the total U.S. advertising revenue in consumer magazines.
This position will work in the Information Technology Advertising and CRM Systems unit of Time Inc’s Media Networks Inc. (MNI) subsidiary. It will focus on the Java development of the in-house system of record.
The ideal candidate will have greater than 2 years of experience developing and designing Java applications using JBoss and interfacing with SQL Server. Experience in the Media, Publishing, and/or Advertising business is also a plus.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required
Java, Swing, Servlet and Enterprise Beans experience and skills are required
JBoss experience and skills are required
SQL Server and database experience and skills are required
XML skills are required
Knowledge of Eclipse is a major plus
Knowledge of CVS is a major plus
Knowledge of Salesforce is a major plus
Business knowledge of print and online advertising is a major plus.
