Job Description As a user interface designer, your main responsibility revolves around ensuring that users have an easy time interacting with software. You coordinate with software engineers and other project managers to determine design specifications that match technical requirements for the program. Designers draft user interface plans, including flowcharts that diagram the flow of the user interface. These plans help instruct the programmers that code the plans into functional software. User interface designers derive their plans from data analysis and design principles that result in the best experience for the end user.
